We had newborn photos taken of Zayden when he was a week old.
We had a WONDERFUL experience with Tracey Brown Photography and are so thankful to her for these memories. We've been blessed with beautiful newborn sessions with our last two babies, in this day and age of pinterest and all the cute new ideas (funny how things have changed even from our first two to our last two!).
This Usborne shot took a lot of time. Turns out babies don't like to sleep on books. Tracey and her assistant, Danika, were unbelievably patient.
He cheeks are undeniably smoochable.
Yummy baby.
The fire helmet was the last shot they did. Turns out babies don't love to sleep in fire helmets either. Again - they were so patient!
I don't even know how she did this (okay, I do understand photo shop, but seriously, she's good!) - we never even set this scene up...unless I fell asleep, which is a possibility at one week postpartum!
My loves...
mmm, I love these little outfits she had for him to wear...they accentuate his curves...
When we arrived we did the pictures with the big kids and family and then Mike whisked them away while I stayed with Zayden. We were there over two hours and Tracey and Danika were understanding with his need to nurse and have mama snuggle him to get him calm and sleepy, not that they ever let him get worked up. Such a great experience. It's amazing to watch newborn photographers and their assistants work - so much patience, calm and peace.
