Christmas Morning

Ah...Christmas morning with many little people is a magical time.
Santa brought two wheel scooters for the big kids and a mini trampoline for the babies.
Mike made this wonderful stocking pole for our stockings.  I love that it doesn't take up much room and that it held them all hanging when they were full.  It was also pretty, to boot!  Thanks, honey!

Santa left the magic key hanging on one of the scooters and Mia was very serious about it's return!
Ameliya needed a little help learning to jump.

Stockings...one of my favorite things.  I get that from my dad!
Santa left a few combined gifts at the base of the stocking pole...a folding step stool for the kitchen, Care Bears, and a big bucket of goldfish!
All she wanted from Santa was toothbrushes...
Ameliya thought finding food and drinks in her stocking meant she should consume it all straight away.
She also got some jewelry, sippies and a sweet head band!
Zayden is Xavier's baby buddy so Xabe opened his stocking and showed him all the things!

Our kids get four gifts each.  We try to follow the saying "something you want, something you need, something to wear, something to read."  This year the girls really didn't need clothes so they didn't get a something to wear...Xavier's something to wear was ball gloves - the only thing he really wanted!

All three of the big kids got lap desks to keep in the van - very handy!

Snap-n-style dogs for Ameliya

A motorcycle engine to build for Xavier

A guitar for Natalee

Minnie Mouse cookies for Ameliya

All the children got Usborne books as their "something to read."  Zayden was totally stoked!
Zayden also got cloth diapers, little soft soled leather shoes, and a roll and return ball.

We had a very sweet morning at home together.  Four presents is just the right amount so the kids aren't overwhelmed and have time to play with their new things before we head to my folks' to celebrate.
