After a very short hospital stay we were dismissed by Dr. Brigitte to go home the day after Ameliya was born. We were more than ready and all feeling great, besides being tired!
Dr. Brigitte gave us our final inspections before handing us our walking papers.
Then we completely unnecessarily dressed baby girl in the "going home" dress I picked out. It was *so* cute on her.
She handled the car seat like a big girl and didn't fuss until the car stopped!
When we got home I realized she was in a dress with nothing on her legs. So we switched to a sleeper that was cozy, warm and comfy! Three outfits in one day - diva!
We all took a nap
and then Grandma Num brought the big kids home.
Emma came in for a visit to get her hands on baby
and then we finished the night with a simple sandwich/movie night for the big ones and stories before bed.
Xavier struggled at bedtime and Ameliya's first night wasn't exactly what I'd qualify as "restful" but we made it through and are still chugging! Happy to have our three babes under one roof!
