When I was a child one of my all time favorite books was Baby Dear.
This book talks about a little girl whose mommy has a new baby and the little girl cares for her dolly like her mommy cares for the new sister. I dug my copy out a few weeks ago and the children love it. As suspected, the longer Ameliya is home, the more I see the children play-acting as "mommy/daddy" with their 'babies.'

And just like in the book, sometimes Mommy let's big sister hold 'her' baby.
