Mike turned 33 on the 4th of April. It was the last day of his week long 'paternity' leave that he took to keep me sane. We celebrated quietly...but Mike did plan a great supper of steak and I *tried* to be of help to him in preparing and cleaning it up.
The big kids were very purposeful in choosing gifts for Daddy this year. It was fun to be their helpers! Xavier wanted to get Daddy a coffee cup to take to work everyday. We chose a good Contigo spill proof travel mug and Daddy says his coffee is so hot he almost can't drink it till he gets to work!!

Natalee heard Daddy say one day that his wallet was old and scuffed and falling apart. She came to me and asked my help in getting him a new one for his birthday. What a girl!! I just happened to be doing an order through Christian Book Distributors and Natalee chose a wallet online to tack onto my order. It has a Bible verse on it and she was so proud to give it to Daddy!
Mommy and Mia ordered Daddy a case for his Bible that he takes to church every week. It's a study case with a spot for his highlighters, pens, paper, etc.
The excitement really got to Ameliya!
Happy birthday, Daddy! We are so blessed by you!
