We had Grandma Num's birthday lunch on Sunday. Getting together with ALL of us is always a good time!
I made a turtle cake for dessert - it was SO rich. Good, but not maybe a recipe that will be requested again...a little went a long long way! Andrea and Lauren tackled fajitas and rice, chips and queso/salsa for the main course and I waddled around, helping (or getting in the road) as I was able.
Mia got to put the candles in the cake, because she's spoiled like that.
We didn't count. No idea how many candles are in the cake!
I also made Mia a little egg free wacky cake so she got to have her own candles. She was too grouchy to blow them out but at least Nannie tried.
Children are so helpful when there are presents to be opened.
Happy birthday, Grandma Num! We love you and are so thankful for you!!

Did I say spoiled? :) She did fall asleep, though.
