Caramel Apples!

Natalee got invited to a friend's house yesterday to make caramel apples.  She came home covered head to toe in chocolate with a huge apple to share for dessert.  My kids have never had caramel apples, nor had they made them.
Natalee and I have had a rough week - change is coming, I'm perhaps not as patient as usual and we needed the break.  Thanks to our friends who gave us that so that, a couple hours later, we were better off for having had a moment apart.  {Xavier is planning his boy play date now - he believes in fair!}
Natalee was very proud have dessert to share with everyone else...I only had a small slice but it was delicious!  Caramel is Daddy's favorite so he boasted over it which made Natalee proud, and Xavier loved it, too!  Mia said, "no thanks."
Not coincidentally, these same friends texted us yesterday morning and invited us to a late morning park recess and a picnic lunch that they provided.  Being loved on like this when you're so very pregnant makes a weary mommy so very grateful, and reminds me to look for opportunities to bless back later.
