How We Do Rainy Days

We got a good old fashioned thundering rain storm this morning and it was glorious!  The plants needed a good dousing for our farmers so we were grateful.  However, after weeks of living outdoors a rainy day kind of comes as a surprise...here's how we do rainy days at our house when it's time for some fun!

 Waffle brunch with my coolest cowboy chef partner!

Followed by castle tents in the living room & Leap Pads which have had a long break from use this summer....
Since the tents were up, they just had lunch in them too...might as well, right?

Oh, what did Baby Bean do?  She's found her LOUD voice and she screeched in joy over many things throughout the morning...
She harassed herself via the mirror...
and must have done so much screeching that she gave herself some tummy bubbles and needed extra lovings.

Which of course meant we got to practice a new (easy) front carry:
 eww - after taking this pic I cleaned the mirror. lol
 ^ starting to get sleepy eyes ^
{1/2 front wrap cross carry}

And now the rain is done, the children are napping and a beautiful 75* breeze is blowing in my windows.  Pretty great way to start the weekend!
