Final Touches

We put the final touches on our Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes.  I spray painted the lids with chalkboard paint and stuck some chalk in.  Since Mia's box is cardboard I slipped in a piece of chalkboard contact paper stuck to cardstock.  

We also put in letters with photos printed on them, including a picture of the children packing the boxes.

 

Each time we walk by the boxes we think of something else we want to stick in them - suckers, stickers, etc.  It's hard to wrap my mind around understanding that this is all these children receive for Christmas.
