We've had a crummy weather week here in our state. Rain, winds, and tornado activity abounded earlier in the week. Even though I've heard all the scientific junk about how tornado tubes don't teach much about tornadoes we made one anyways...it gives the kids a good visual, it's a nice sensory tool after it's completed and it's fun.
Daddy led this activity...on the counter top, of course, because he's the funnest!
This has been a huge hit - the kids love playing with the bottle and if nothing else they've learned the new vocabulary word "tornado."
Xavier loves it the most. He likes to make it "work." He did this for hours yesterday!
