Our First Home

Eleven years and a couple months ago, two starry eyed naive kids signed a lot of papers and bought a house.  Over the course of the next decade we made that house a home and brought home five beautiful children to it.  Our home held a lot of memories within it's walls.  It saw fights and tears, bore witness to love and laughter and hardship and fear.  It watched us grow - emotionally and physically.  That sweet little house saw first steps and heard first words.

We hated that little house sometimes, when we needed more space, but we always loved it, too.  It taught us about budgeting and maintaining what was ours, and being creative with what we had.

Last week we said good-bye to that sweet little home, but the memories we made inside of it will stay with us forever.
Oh how I loved this front door.

The kids got to take any other pictures they wanted, so these next poses are random...

Thank you, little house at 202 W. Madison for housing a decade of our lives.

Congratulations to our buyer.  We hope you're as happy there as we were!
