Out and About in Our New Town

We are slowing poking around and getting familiar with our new town.
Last Thursday (the 3rd) we went to a used book sale before meeting Aunt Annette for pizza.
On Friday (the 4th), we went to a class for the kids at the local conservation department.  The topic was spider webs!

On Saturday (the 5th), we went to a family event at the local Nazarene church.

On Sunday we visited a new church.

On Tuesday (the 8th) the kids watched the college team play baseball across the street from the house.

On Wednesday, the 9th, we took a walk around a few streets near the house before we started school.

This past Friday (the 11th) we took a long awaited trip to the beautiful library.  The library in our new town is a lovely brick 3 story building that is a city block long.  It was child friendly and bubbling with life and we enjoyed our time there very much.  I envision many hours spent at our new library.
Slowly, slowly we are acclimating.  The children are much more resilient than their mother, but I'm stretching myself and making my socially awkward self get out there and be uncomfortable.  Have I mentioned it's hard being the new girl?
