Please welcome our beautifully handsome new nephew, Theodore Alvin! Is he the cutest or what!?
Such bright eyes...and he has hair!
Theo was born at 5:48 p.m. on May 7th after quite a long labor. His mama, my baby sis Lauren, is a champ...this is her and Lance's first baby and he weighed in at 10 pounds 1 ounce and was 20" long!
We hung out in the waiting room all day anxious for his arrival. I'm usually the baby "haver" so it's exciting being the auntie!
I rode back over to see Theo and his mommy and daddy again yesterday knowing I wouldn't be able to visit for a few days - the kids are sniffly and we want them well before they meet Theo.
He proved just as sweet, snuggly, squishy, and darling on his first full day as he'd been at a couple of hours old.

I wanted a classic teddy bear for "Teddy." My children have voted (with Lance and Lauren's permission) to call Theo "Teddy."
He has the best yawns!

Oh sweet Theo - we're so glad to meet you and privileged to be a part of your life. You are beautiful and just simply quite perfect! We can't wait to watch you grow and we think you're a perfect addition to our wonderfully busy, crazy, and loving family!
