A Growing Up Week

Ameliya Darby has had a very "growing up" week.  She's really been exploring - testing her boundaries - and growing.

Every time I turn around she's somewhere new.  She follows me from room to room and is getting faster even though she doesn't crawl traditionally.  She's super content for long stretches of time playing on the floor, and has decided the big kids are the bees knees and wants to be with them all the time.
She's not allowed in the play room because of the stairs and all the small toys and hasn't challenged this boundary in several weeks until the other day.
 The rug is her boundary.
The no-no really got to her and broke her heart.  That doesn't mean we didn't have to go through this routine 3-4 times that day.  Not since then, thank goodness.

She popped through not 1, but 2, new teeth on top.  Now she has SIX!  Two on the bottom and four on the top.
She's up to 24.2 pounds and I'm quite certain that she's going to be a b.a.l.l. of fun this Christmas!
