Two Timbers Christmas Program 2020

Last year the church we'd just begun visiting invited our children to be a part of their Christmas program.  This year, that same sweet church has become part of our village and we're so thankful to have them in our lives.  Tonight was their annual Christmas program and our four oldest children all had parts.

We allowed the children to tuck their masks under their chairs to go on stage and do their parts, and then mask back up after.  We also skipped out on the refreshments and visiting following the program and treated the children to Frosty's at home.  Despite the precautions, we're so happy the children got to be a part of something so beautiful and we're thankful to Kathy and her helpers who put it all together.

Our oldest 2 have been taking piano lessons with Miss Kathy and she included their new skills into the program.  Hearing them at the piano is a treasure to my heart.

Here is the program in it's entirety.  It's only 25 minutes - I encourage you to watch it and center your heart on Jesus this Christmas.  It's been a hard year.  Let Him be enough.  Please, Lord, fill our cups.
As a bonus you'll get to see my beautiful angels and my handsome boys in suits.  Zayden unbuttoned his suit vest after we seated him in the prep line so "you could see his tie better" and tucked his suit pants in so "you could see his boots."
He practiced both his little parts so hard, but going up there all alone he got nervous.  Thankful that Miss Kathy just calmly helped him along so he didn't have to be embarrassed.
Kathy and Merle made the nativity for the play.  Their talents are inspiring.
Xavier's solo!  Well done, buddy!
Precious little group.
The post program fun, gifts, and show of thanks and appreciation.

Kathy and Merle are a blessing.
Even little Evie got a gift bag in it.
The kids' ornament from Kathy...
We are thankful for this night.  Our hearts, this mama's heart, needed it desperately.
