Two Timbers Christmas Program

The Two Timbers Church of Christ has welcomed us into their very open arms upon our move and made us feel very loved.  They invited our children to be in their Christmas program and if that wasn't enough to touch this mother's heart, the program tonight was simply beautiful and our children were so pleased to be involved.

Freshly pressed and ready to go...

Our youngest two were part of the trio that sang Away in a Manger to the Baby Jesus.
Natalee was part of the angel choir and Xavier was in the shepherds group.

The program had two parts.  The Christmas story was first.  Following that there was an intermission where we sang and members of the church shared Christmas memories.  It was so interesting to us to hear about the Christmas traditions from Holland and to learn more about members of the church as they shared.
Then, the pastor shared a message and we finished with the second portion of the children's program.
Our children all remembered their lines.  Miss Kathy so sweetly wrote them with each child in mind, regarding their interests and what they were capable of.  Miss Kathy pours her heart into this program and you can feel it.

Following the program, Miss Kathy had a gift for each child, and again, our troops were not left out.  She has found a special place in my heart, because (as a friend once told me) - you show love to me when you show love to my children.
They also recognized and sang to our birthday girl!
Miss Kathy also teared up and gave a gift to her husband for all his help and support, especially this year as she's recovered from surgery.  I told Mike, I want us to have this kind of love in the years to come.  They are setting an example and we are watching.
After the program we fellowshipped with the congregation with snacks.  The program, the message, and the time spent in fellowship with the members of this church have made the Beelers want to spread more love this season and in the months to come.  Thank you, Two Timbers.

And now, because you know I wouldn't leave her out...the stages of Evie pants at the Christmas program.
Right before it began....clean, fresh, cheery.
During the program - cat napping...
And at the end...fur sweater soaking wet from drool, looking like the cutest lil mangy wet poodle ever.  LOL
