Xavier's 6th Birthday

Mike had to work on Xavier's birthday but I always try to make pieces of the day special.  Xavier chose cinnamon rolls for his birthday breakfast - last year I made them homemade...this year Mike blessed me with canned.  I wanted to wait to do presents until Mike got home but I hid a new sticker book for the birthday boy and played a game of hot and cold with him to find it.

We ran to a local Dutchman store and Xavier got to pick out a special truck - we also were there to get bonnets for the girls and overalls for Xabe and a few groceries.  Xavier wanted "snack plate" for lunch, which is quite easy enough, so he got to help shop for a few of the things to put on it.

Daddy came home early and Xavier got to open gifts!  Most special of all was a picture Daddy sketched for him, which is the only thing Xavier really asked for from us.
We also got him a Playmobil motorcycle garage - we're becoming huge Playmobil fans around here.  It's seen a lot of action already!
And a new bike helmet to go with the fancy new bike - I wish that bike had an odometer on it so I could tally the miles it's had already.  I bet it's impressive!

Xavier chose french toast and sausage for his birthday supper and white cake with strawberry frosting and strawberry ice cream for dessert.
The girls went to bed early and Xavier got the last 30 minutes of his birthday with us to himself - that seemed like quite a treat in and of itself.
 Happy 6 years, Xavier Micheal!

Bonus picture - baby Teddy wore TMNT to honor Xavier's birthday and his mommy sent us a pic!
