Vacation Day 4 - Independence Day in ND

Ameliya woke on day 4 screaming that her ear hurt.  No fever, but the wind of the day before combined with swimming over the weekend likely made a sore ear.  I dosed her up with some CBG and pain relief drops and decided to keep her and Zayden home from the big parade so she could nap.  She slept for almost 3 hours while the big kids had a BIG time with Aunt Renae, Nannie, Emma, and Daddy at the Mandan parade!
This parade is quite long and is a pretty big deal (especially for my small town kids).  They ate ice cream from an ice cream truck, were given popsicles that they gave away and had tons of candy and other "loot" including beach balls!

Meanwhile, the uncles were smoking ribs back at the farm.  While Ameliya slept, Zayden and I played.
When Ameliya woke up we played with Teddy and then the rest of the crew came back and we visited with everyone the rest of the afternoon and evening.
A baby gift for TJ and Laken!
 Lub his cheekies!
They are going to be grandparents in a month - they'll be great!!
My big kids got to try playing bocce ball - they are big fans.

After several Mia meltdowns, a mini mommy meltdown, and lots of good food, we washed and jammied the kids and headed back to town for fireworks!
None of my kids were scared, and eventually they all fell asleep waiting for the big fireworks show.
Natalee first, then Zayden, Xavier, and last Ameliya.
I recently joined Snapchat so all my "Story" posts are here in this handy little video.  There are some beautiful fireworks snaps at the end...
