Up and Out

During the 4 month growth spurt and the week following the growth spurt called wonder week (seriously, who knew?) someone grew almost literally right out of her bed.

These were taken at nap time but regardless I was waking up in the mornings to feet in my face...

and when Little Biscuit would roll over I could hear her body brushing the sides of her bed, occasionally bonking her head on the bed bar between our beds...

And then there's this...a bonus pic of her resting her chin on the barrier bar and staring me awake...

 

Yes, undeniably, Miss Thang needed more space.  Such is the theme of life in our shrinking house lately.  So, instead of setting up the full crib just yet we pulled out the crib mattress, did the pool noodle side barrier trick on both long edges and plunked it right beside our beds...

Suddenly, on this bigger mattress, she doesn't look so big any more!  Last night was her first night on it and she did great.  Growing up way too quickly!!
