The Birthday Boy! {Turns Four}

Tuesday was a big day for my big boy Xavier.
We started with a couple presents.

TMNT socks from Natalee...

Xavier got to open one gift from Daddy and Mommy even though Daddy was at work.  He had picked out this Bass Pro set that he loved at the store so I bought it on the sly and put it up for his birthday.  Yes, it’s pink and purple.  It had more features (a boat!) than the green and brown (boyish) colored set and it’s the one he wanted.  Colors don’t mean much to a 4 year old boy. ;)

 The kids played...
 and played...
 and played...
Every day they are STILL playing with it tons.  It has a jeep, trailer, 4 wheeler, boat with paddles, tent, campfire, cooler, cook stove…the works.  Oh the adventures they have had this week!

I finally persuaded him to set his new toys aside for a minute and come eat.  A monkey bread treat for the birthday boy!  He ate some of it but was eager to get back to his play soon after!

Then I got the mail and found a piece in there for the birthday boy.  Four big $1 bills for the big 4 year old!  Thanks Gma Num and Papa Curtis!
 {counting them ^^}

More playtime and then a lunch of Xavier’s choice…chicken nuggets, strawberries, and cucumbers (with dye free lemonade mixed in their water!).

We did have naps, so that there was energy for the evening.  After naps Grandma Num stopped by for a birthday squeeze and Papa George and Granny brought a new car and truck (with doors that open!) – I must have been vegetative by this point because I forgot to take pictures.

Daddy came home a little early and made the birthday request of homemade pizza, followed by presents…

TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLE action figures!  Ahh…who knew how much fun action figures could be?  Not this mom, that’s for sure.  So much more playing.  The TMNTs even got to go camping with the new camping set!  Ha!

We ended the night with the traditional cake and ice cream dessert...four big candles on Xavier's cake!
 silverware?  what for?

Happy birthday, dear son!  You are our joy! Love, Mommy and Daddy (and the sisters!)
