Rad Grad

Natalee completed her radKids course this afternoon with a simulation where she got to use her skills and a graduation ceremony.  I was very proud that she did the best she could during her simulation and fought back against her attacker.  This summer we'll be working on strengthening her arms and reminding her it's okay to use her voice when someone is trying to trick her, hurt her or make her feel bad.

This was a long week physically, emotionally, and mentally.  We missed naps every day for 5 days straight and Natalee {and Xavier, on the sidelines} took in a TON of important information.  I'm proud of my girl for sticking it out and giving it her all and doing her best all week long.  As a family, we've had a lot of discussion and laid out a lot of plans to keep the children safe and help them use their smarts.
