Little Bam Bam

Zayden Sam

Little Sam
AKA
Sam Bam
AKA
Bam Bam...

I have a tendency to call Zayden "Bam Bam" or "Little Bam" and it just suits him so well.

He's been particularly funny as of late and we're enjoying him ever so much.  He's also seamlessly become a wonderful big brother.

Today he got dressed for church, and then found his Superman cape in the van.  He put it on so happily.  Five years ago I would have never let his brother wear a cape into church for fear of being judged but I don't care about being judged anymore, so Zayden got to leave it on.  As we walked up the stairs one of our more senior couples was greeting - the sweetest couple who dress properly in suit, tie (him) and pantsuit (her) every single week.  If ever there was a couple you might fear would judge your clothes, many would expect it to be them.  However, I wasn't afraid because we don't really face judgement at LCC (and I'm too tired to worry about being judged) - and as I suspected, when we walked up the stairs, the man looked at Zayden, grinned, and said, "good morning, Superman," and on we went.

Zayden was holding his cape out a bit when we walked up the stairs so the wind would catch it and he could fly.  He's a crack up.  He also told his dad when we were in the parking lot that if a car hit him he wouldn't be hurt, but he'd dent the car.  LOL

Bonus pics of this cutie from the last few days...

Yesterday while we were loading trailers to move, Natalee was babysitting these two in the back yard and they got to splash in the kiddy pool...
bestest buddies!

Then as we drove from our house to the rental Zayden donned his shades and do-rag and promptly fell asleep (cape in hand).  He's such a cool kid.

Last pic....Friday we cleaned at the rental and went to Wendy's for a late lunch.  This was our first experience at a Wendy's so I ordered a couple of traditional frosties and explained to the kids that you're supposed to dip your fries in the frosty.  Some liked it, some didn't, but Zayden totally dug it.

We love you Little Bam.  You keep us on our toes but you sure are a lot of fun!
