Last Nights at Home

The last week at our home I let the kids put their air mattresses anywhere they wanted.  They slept in the kitchen, playroom, dining room, living room - anywhere they wanted.
They switched every night for 3 nights.
Ev and I chose to sleep in our beds.

Now We are Seven

Sometimes when I'm head-counting and making sure all the children are accounted for I get to 5 and think "mercy that seems like a lot."  Ha.

Five very unique personalities.
Five very different people.
Five very differing opinions.
Five dynamic humans.
Five very loved children.

We had a family wedding yesterday and took the opportunity of us all being semi-dressed up to snap a family picture.
Aunt Lauren played the role of photographer and took several for us quickly.

My handsome boys.  Xavier is looking off, but it was too cute of Bam Bam to not save.

Our sweet daughters.  Five years between each of them, just like my sisters and me.

And now we are 7!

My fabulous five...

And my wedding date for the last 17 years...
We're thankful for this family that God gave us.

Cutie Thumb Sucker + Smiles

This cutie...
She's about too much to handle when she sucks her thumb.
Mommy really wishes she would consistently suck her thumb or take a pacifier so that she wasn't just quite so reliant on me, but I'm sure we'll get there eventually.  Or not.  But these moments won't last forever.

Dontcha just wanna smooch her up??  I do - all day, everyday.

She's also been sharing some smiles lately that would melt your heart.
Seriously...

Bonus pictures of her snoozing through a bath...
Bath chats on a different night...
In just 2 1/2 weeks, her personality is coming through.  She's opinionated and adorable.

Papa Curtis

I took a screenshot of this off of Papa's Snapchat on Friday.
Just Papa and Ev rocking and shooting the breeze.

Only God

Only God, in His infinite wisdom, could have given us such a blessing that we didn't even know we needed.
We're so thankful for our little Evie.
After a couple busy days of cleaning and moving, wherein Ev and I did a lot of supervising and only a little work, we had good sleeps last night.
She is such a little trooper and we fall more in love with her everyday.
