Final Christmas of 2015 {Grandma Betty's Christmas}

We had our final Christmas of 2015 last Saturday with Mike's Grandma Betty and family.  Last Christmas we'd grown grandma Betty's great-grandkids by 2 and we did it again this year making it a total of 8!
What a crew!  Ages 8 weeks, 7 years, 21 months, 5 1/2 years, 6 months, 5 1/2 years, 19 months, and 8 years.
Great-grandma Betty loves each one of these crazies.

Ameliya especially likes to sit with grandma...it's a calm, quiet place to suck fingers and relax.  Actually she seeks out Grandma Betty's company frequently when we are together.  They read books, play toys, and rock.
Great-Grandma tended to be a bit of a baby snatcher this weekend (wink).  Anytime I walked by with Zayden she held out her arms.  He is a good snuggle buddy.

The kids did a gift exchange this year and the adults did a favorite things party.  Because I have 4 we got to buy for all 4 of the other children.  We chose Usborne for everyone!
The girls are dishing over the Usborne Fashion and Design book...

Natalee loves her My Little Pony chapter book from Adelyn.
Mia was soooo tired.  Soo, so sleepy.

The favorite things exchange was fun and a nice change of pace.  This was our first year without Boots and doing something different made things a little mentally easier for me, at least.
Men's items on the left, women's on the right...
I look tired, too. Whew.
Teaching Papa to use his new selfie stick.

After gifts it was food time!
The big girls had to move to a bigger table!  Soon the big boys will have to join them so that Zayden and Adelyn can be at the little table.

Our family wasn't on the ball during picture time...
The Paredes did well...
We did not...

The Brummers were more organized. :)  Less diaper wearers in their bunch, though I think it wasn't all the babies' fault in our pictures!

After pictures some napped, some watched football, and others played games into the evening.  A fun, full day!
Zayden and Uncle Miguel are plotting for a baby boy cousin for Zayden.
 Natalee was a good sport.
Pass the Pig!  The kids liked it!
Even thought we only get to squeeze each other a couple of times a month, I'm trying to make sure I take pictures of and with our newest sweet niece, like I did with my niece and nephew years ago when they were little and liked to snuggle me.  Though there are miles between us, Adelyn Jewel, never doubt that Uncle Mike and Auntie Jenn are always here for you!
