Christmas at Granny Sara's & Papa George's

We had our first family Christmas celebration of 2019 this weekend.
We drove down to Lancaster and rang in the season with Granny Sara, Papa George, Kea, Miguel, AJ, Isa, and Great Grandma Betty.  After a yummy brunch, we exchanged gifts and enjoyed each other's company.

These kids were so cooperative getting a picture taken!  The key is to do it first thing.  No food, no water, no gifts until you all smile 😉.

These three are the cutest kind of trouble.  Ages 5, 4, and 4.  I love watching their friendship.
Papa and his girls in red...
My tired girl.
Evie gets to start the present opening because she's the baby.
We got Isa a walking, barking puppy...
and she loved it.
Zayden was a pretty patient little dude, waiting his turn.  He's also a gracious gift receiver, which is fun, and he gets excited to give gifts to others.
Legos are always a hit.
Natalee has been very into painting her own nails.  Aunt Kea found a new non-toxic brand of polish at Wal-Mart and we're excited to try it.
Preteen years...
The girls gave each other dress up dresses!  Elena and Rapunzel...
Xavier is excited to learn chess!  This version is highly recommended in our gameschooling group.
Minnie Mouse dress up because big sister got Rapunzel.

We love Ev's new hat.

treasured memories...

Kea and I slipped across the street to visit with my cousins and her friends/old neighbors for an hour or so and then came back to eat supper and then play with these crazy critters...
Isa loves her cousins...especially if they have puppy chow.  LOL.

Bonus picture of Granny & Papa and the grands from Sunday (because we didn't take one Saturday)...
and the original 4 (+baby Jesus in the manger back there - ha)...

Thank you, Granny and Papa for helping us making fun memories together.  We love you all.
