Sibling Gift Exchange

Our children drew names to buy for each other for Christmas and they were really excited to do their own shopping and gift giving.  I took them one and two at a time to the stores so they could shop for their sibling.

Ameliya had Zayden's name...
She chose a set of little guns and holsters and hand cuffs for him.

Coincidentally, Zayden had Ameliya's name.  He was probably the most precious gift giver this year.  When we were at Orcheslan's one day, shopping as a family, Ameliya fell in love with a Breyer pony.  She cried when we left it on the shelf, but we held firm.  Zayden was determined to get her that pony, and so he did.  She looked for the specific one she loved when she was doing her shopping a week later, but it was gone (there was only one, and he'd already bought it). He did a good job keeping it a secret even though he was SO excited to give it to her.
Her face says he did good!  He also picked her a little horse and dolly rider.

Natalee had Xavier's name.  She chose him a pair of work gloves and a "six shooter" toy gun.

Evalynn had Natalee's name...
With Mom's help, Ev got her an American Girl mini Felicity doll and an Elsa magnetic doll.

Xavier had Evalynn's name.  He actually shopped at Goodwill and got a lot of great deals (mom washed everything before he wrapped it up!).  He snagged Ev an Usborne soft book, and soft baby doll, and a purple sleeper (you'll see it in Christmas morning pics).
Xavier also likes to make gifts, and made Evalynn a melty (perler) bead Christmas ornament.  He put a white E in the middle of it, with colored beads all around.  I thought I took a picture of it, but alas, can't find it and it's already packed away, but I love that he chose to make her a gift from the heart in addition to what he'd bought her.

The children opened their sibling gifts Christmas Eve morning and enjoyed playing with them during the day!
