Now He's 3! {Zayden Sam}

Sometimes the days are long.  Sometimes the boy is ornery.  But in the blink of an eye I turned around and now he is 3!

Our big boy slept in until 9 a.m.  On your birthday you can do what you want!

He woke up to presents from us all.  All of the kids had gotten him a little something, which was very sweet.  A homemade card and PJ mask tshirt from his Nini (Natalee).

An ABC book from Xaber...
He loves his ABCs.

Mia got him a set of rainbow curves, which he used all day as sheds and tunnels for his cars!

From mom and dad, Rescue Bots Transformers!  I'm learning so many new things as this boy's mom!

I had Bible study planned for this morning and left it scheduled because Zayden likes to play with his friends when we go.  However, Daddy ended up taking PTO today and Zayden chose to stay home with him all morning and play Rescue Bots one on one!

My friend, Chelsie, made him "buttcakes" to celebrate his birthday and didn't hold it against him when he didn't show up at Bible study because he was with Daddy.  She sent some home for him to enjoy, and he did!  Her girls also made sweet cards for Z.  He is so loved.

The kids played all afternoon - Rescue Bots are attention holders!  We got to FaceTime with AJ and Aunt Kea who called to wish a happy birthday, and Papa Curtis called, too!

Grandma Num stopped by with birthday presents - Super Wing Transformers.  Transforming is our new favorite thing!
Papa did good ordering - he was very excited about these guys!

After supper, we had "buttcakes" and ice cream to celebrate our sweet big boy.

(in such need of a hair cut...look at his bang blow - ha)
After supper, more transforming and super wings.  This is the life of a 3 year old.
Zayden Samuel, you are wild and stubborn, headstrong, and witty.  You are rarely still and you have a great imagination.  You laugh is contagious and your vocabulary is vast.  You love to have someone to play with and don't like being left out or told that you're too little.  You are mommy's boy and daddy's buddy and you, our darling boy, as so very loved.
You have grown our faith, our patience, and our hearts.  You've taught us to relax and live in this moment.
Happy birthday, Sam Bot.
