Closer to Baby {#3}

We're getting closer to being ready for Baby #3!

The co-sleeper and swing came in the mail and the children and I assembled them.  Xavier is actually pretty manly and can be quite a bit of help for a small fry!  He was so proud to be doing "big brother" things for the baby!

 

(Mike still has to attach it to the bed...but I keep shoving it away.  Let's face it - right now I'm getting up 3x+ a night to potty...hopefully once baby comes I won't need OUT of bed that many times!)

The base for the car seat is in the car, baby's suitcase is packed, my suitcase is...eh "almost" there (but my toiletry bag is ready - b/c who would want to use hospital shampoo after giving birth!??).  The children's overnight bag is packed and they are prepped for what is happening and for spending a couple nights at Gma Num's and Papa's (though excited, Xavier didn't realize he wouldn't get to go with to the delivery and watch the baby "come out"...that boy!).  I even have little gifts ready to give them at the hospital.  

I'd still love to find a warm enough day to vacuum out the van, and, of course there will always be last minute things that need doing but it feels good to know that baby and I will have a place to rest our heads when we get home.  What else do you really need? ;)

Updated on 3/14/14 to add a picture of this cuteness...my friend/cousin Breanna from {the baby keeper} custom made a "to my wishes" rainbow cocoon that is footless with a drawstring for easy diaper changes.  She offered to add raindrops to it but big sis, Natalee, gave a firm veto.  Rain does make Natalee kind of sad feeling so I wasn't altogether surprised.  Come on baby - finish baking!  We're ready!!
