did you know...

...that this is only the 2nd time in history for over 100 years that the candidate who won the presidency did not win the electoral votes in the state of Missouri? the state of missouri is historically known for giving their votes to the person who ends up elected. i learned that from charles gibson last night.

that is some great history that i didn't know. but what is really bothering me is that i can't hardly read your post b/c the makes my eyes all blurry! don't know if anyone else is having that problem or not, maybe it's just me b/c i am tired!

in 1956 eisenhower ran for re-election against stevenson, who he'd run against & beat in 52. missouri voted for eisenhower in 52, but stevenson in 1956 & eisenhower won the re-election.
