Zayden chose to try out baseball this year and had his first ever game. He did a great job and was a lot of fun to watch.
He played short stop for their first turn in the field. Not being distracted is something he might need to practice a bit, but when the ball did come at him he knew where the play was!
Is he the cutest? Nothing was going to convince him to wear shorts. He wanted the pants, the belt, the works.
It was a damp night with intermittent rain showers but we muddled through and had a good time. Mike was with Mia at her soccer game. Thursday evening we'll switch.
At this age division the kids get three balls with the pitching machine, and then they use the tee. Zayden hit both times he was at bat with the machine.
Zayden did try to steal a base - a little something he picked up from watching big brother I imagine. It's not allowed at this age, though.
Mom's always your biggest cheerleader, Zayden. I love you!
