Week in the Life {Another Tooth, Hammocks, Fireworks, Relaxing!}

Sunday, June 28th
Another easy, low key Sunday at home...
Evie Lynn has started climbing. 😭
She also sings.

Monday, June 29th
Evalynn climbed over this basket several times, apparently just for the sheer joy of falling off the other side.
She also turned TEN MONTHS OLD!  You can see the rest of her 10 month pictures and stats HERE.
We do a lot of afternoon reading these days.
Xavier took a selfie to send to Uncle Lance and Lauren to show his new shirt!
Zayden's new hammock arrived...
Mia, go get a headband to keep the hair out of your face for supper.
Uh......
We're a laugh a minute around here.

Tuesday, June 30th
I started my morning outside praying, and my cardinal joined me.
His song is so sweet and he's so pretty.

Natalee wanted diced, fried potatoes and eggs for breakfast so I encouraged her to make that for herself.  She did great!
When you know your prune juice is good for you but it's kinda nasty...
Mia is so funny.
My flower bed is filling out!!
Papa Curtis was out and about and stopped in.  He brought Xavier's birthday present from him and Grandma - a bike basket and water bottle holder!
He also brought frosties for everyone 😉.
I made meatloaf for supper with green beans, corn, garlic mashed potatoes...Evalynn was a huge fan of the meatloaf!

Wednesday, July 1st
Xavier's bike is so accessorized!  Camera, basket, water bottle holder!  He rode breakfast down to Daddy.
Wednesday night we had our grade promotion celebration and some silly backyard time.
Mia taught Zayden to read this book. 💚 She's trying to put me out of a job.

Thursday, July 2nd
Just another day at home.
Evalynn ate her breakfast and mine.
Zayden came for some mommy snuggles mid morning and we watched a little PBS kids.
The kids had to either rest with books or nap.  Zayden asked to rest in his hammock.  See him "resting" there?  I also love the other two siblings deep in conversation while they finish their lunch.
Let me take your picture, pretty girl.
We ended Thursday with a movie night.

Friday, July 3rd
Daddy had Friday off for the holiday.  Yay!  He mowed Friday morning and the kids and I just did our thing.
The supplies came for our DIY charging station organization.
After a day of me doing not much, I showered early and went out to Mike's hammock to just kind of decompress and be alone...
..alone didn't last long...

Saturday, July 4th
Happy Independence Day!
Daddy grilled, we played in the backyard altogether, and just enjoyed the day.
The big kids put on a circus for me.  It's long, but if you watch, you'll be so impressed at how well they hold their breath and how brave they are in the water!
Evalynn's first 4th of July and she got tooth #4!!
We showered all the kids and put them in PJs and went to the stadium to watch fireworks.  We were so early because I was confused about the schedule but the kids were able to run around in the field a bit while we waited.  The heat had died down a little so it was a nice evening for sitting outside- and I'd brought ice cream sandwiches!  Our friends, the Vermuelens joined us and shared glow sticks with the children, which made the night even more festive.
The town had a nice fireworks display.
The air was, however, so thick that the smoke couldn't dissipate so it kind of added a cloud to the fireworks.

We had a nice week.  A lot of family time, free time, and time to just unwind and relax.
