Thankful Cards

We read the cards from our thankful jar during Thanksgiving weekend.  What fun to see what the children had written during the month of November!
So much to be thankful for!

Family-full Weekend

Thanksgiving this year meant extra time with the people we love for our little family!  We got to spend time with cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents...it has been a beautiful long weekend.

Wednesday night Sara had us over for supper...
It's been way too long since we've seen our beautiful spunky Adelyn!

Thursday we spent the noon hour at my Aunt Beth's, then went to my folks' for supper, and stopped by Aunt Penny's to say hello.  Big day!

Look at these handsome boys in their shirts and vests from Grandma and Papa.  #studs
Zayden got to open an early birthday present - orange moccasins!  So cute!

Grandkids (missing lots!)
+ great-grands
+ parents

Shayna gave us all LipSense makeovers.
 Our turkeys...
 Mia and Aunt Marcia...
 Teddy time!
Grandma and Papa got Zayden gluten free cookies!
 PJ buddies...
 they are the cutest...

Friday snuggles with AJ...
And to top off the weekend, I got a porch swing from my sisters as an early birthday gift.  It's lovely...
Sigh, it's been a beautiful few days.  Thank you, God, for this family and these blessings.

O Christmas Tree

Ahhh...such a beauty...
Sara got herself a new skinny tree and graciously offered us her old one.  I love that it takes up so much less space!  And it's so pretty!
Our "first" ornaments get the prime spot, high and center on the tree.  I love these ornaments.
Mia got to do the star.  She's finding the magic of Christmas this year and is enthralled with the tree and the decorations and the season.
And because we live in the real world we tied it to the wall.  Ha.
Such a beautiful season of loving, giving, and spending time celebrating our Savior!

Party Time {Celebrating Natalee and Zayden}

We had a joint birthday party tonight for Natalee and Zayden.  How blessed they are to have grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins to surround them and celebrate their lives.

Supper time:

Playtime!  We filled the playpen with balloons and set up all the tents and tunnels for the kids to play in.

Present time:

Cake time!

Visiting time:
Thank you to our families for surrounding us with your love, tonight and always, and for joining with us in this journey of raising up our children!
