We had our first snow on Saturday morning when the kids woke up. Just enough that we couldn't tell them no when they were dying to get outside and play in it. They scarfed their biscuits and gravy and began the long process of bundling up...
Turns out that Ameliya was way more excited about the idea of going out than she was about playing in the snow. She hated the cold, the snow, and the wind in her face. She lasted five minutes and came back in with Mama.
She stood and watched the kids for a long time out the window.
Hot cocoa when they came in warmed the cherubs back up! They are sad that the snow is mostly melted now (Mom's not!) but I've assured them that there will be more to come.
