2 Weeks {Zayden}

This handsome fella is two weeks old today.  He's such a sweetie - so patient and calm and 'zen.' 

Zayden wakes himself up every 2-3 hours to nurse but never really cries.  He's a champion at dirtying diapers and peeing on me when I try to change his diaper.  He's starting to recognize us all and make facial expressions at us.  He has a couple periods of awake time during the day where we chat and coo and make eyes at each other.  He doesn't mind his swing but he does not like the vibrating option!  

He's in size 1 diapers, size 0-3 clothes, and weighed 10.2 pounds tonight.

Today was our first day without daddy or a grandma helper and we did it!  The big kids were excellent, Ameliya was as calm as she gets and Zayden was wonderful.  We're thankful that supper is being brought to us so I didn't have to think through that task quite yet.

 We still found some time for our snuggles and lovins.

Thankfully big brother Xavier was willing to help me out while Natalee and I got Ameliya ready for bed.  He held and rocked Zayden proudly.  He's so excited to have a brother.  My heart explodes with joy for these boys that they have each other!
