New Toy! {Buzzers}

I ordered these Light and Sound Buzzers on a whim for the kids and we used them for the first time this morning.  

There was no real purpose for this order except to add something fun, different, and apparently noisy to our "classroom." 

We had a highly entertaining time this morning having a "Bible Quiz" with our new buzzers.  Once the kids caught on, they really went to town.

Something interesting to me...

When I do these Bible questions in "fastest draw" quiz form with the kids I usually just have the first one who knows shout out the answer.  Whoever it is says it.  I was surprised this morning to see that Natalee, who is sometimes a couple seconds behind brother with her thought process, was often fastest with the buzzer.  What I realized is that she must know the answer as quick as he does and the buzzer notified me of that while giving her time to say her answer - because once she pushed her buzzer she knew she had the floor first. 

 Xavier liked his buzzer particularly because it was a siren and asked me if he could take it for play time.  The answer was a smiling but firm "no thanks."  Grin.  Boys!
