Growing Boy

I teased this boy for a week about shaving his moppy head.

His hair is so thick and was really uncontrollable but his stylist couldn't get him in for a couple of weeks.  On Saturday when I teased him he looked at me and said, "okay, Mom, let's do it."  So his Dad took him to the porch and, using the longest setting, buzzed his hair.  It's made him look SO old.

  

This morning he finished his "pink" preschool book.  I gave him his very last one (the gray one) before becoming our kindergartener this fall.  

He's excited to play ball this summer and turn five.  He's also becoming a precious and helpful big brother.

He's a pretty sweet little brother, too.

Love you, little son.  Growing up is hard to do but you are doing a bang up job of it!
