First Significant Snow

We've had some flurries this week and the children have tried to "frolic" in the minimal snow that's accumulated but they've quickly come back in as the wind and cold has outweighed the fun.  Today, however, we had a real snow.  It was so fluffy and beautiful - the children couldn't WAIT to get out in it.  They are getting pretty adept at putting all their snow gear on, which is a blessing to this mama!
 Look at those big flakes!
The played on the slide, the trampoline, made snow angels, and fully frolicked about!

Mini pox had to watch the snow from the window.

The snow is always more beautiful when you don't have to be anywhere and can just enjoy it's beauty.  {And the first snow is always met with more cheer than the 20th!}

I made some hot chocolate on the stove top for them when they came back in, all rosy cheeked and smelling like freshness.

 We finished up the day with family game night...
