Evalynn Turns 5 {+ a sweet tea party}

Our tiny princess turned 5 on a beautiful August day.  A total opposite from the chilly August day we brought her home on.

Evalynn began her celebrating a couple of days before her birthday with a little tea party (but actually lemonade).
She was so excited and her excitement was contagious.  She dressed and accessorized carefully.
We planned one craft, manicures, the tea party, and then I just let the girls play.
A sampling of many little donuts and lemonade.  Mia was a great help to me.
Her sweet friends brought cards and gifts.
The time flew with this trio and Evie thanked me several times for letting her having a little birthday party.

On Evie's birthday we did all the things Evie loves best.  Eat sweets, open gifts, play, and entertain her.
A new shirt to start the day...
Mike had to go to work but he got to eat with us!
Sweet smile of excitement...
foil art
New dress up for Evie and Honey!
Evie had a very specific vision for her cake - which is funny because she doesn't really like cake - but we worked together and made what she wanted.
Zayden worked so hard on these Gabby perler bead creations.
Our sweet college neighbors stopped by to wish Ev a happy birthday!
The cake did turn out pretty adorable...
A new backpack for HSAP.
And a birthday call from Grandma and Papa.
Painting to finish the day...

Evalynn had a full and fun day to celebrate turning five.
What a treasure you are to us, Evie.  I'm so happy to be your mama.  We love you so much.
