After 3 years and almost 11 months of growth, Evalynn went to the hair salon for her first big girl hair cut.
Truth be told, I actually trimmed her baby mullet back in 2021 so this wasn't technically her very first cut. However, it's the first cut she remembers and the first salon cut so it was a big day for a little girl. Evalynn is rarely nervous but she wasn't too sure about having a hair cut.

Kate won Ev over with chocolate and the promise of glitter spray, then she watched big sis, Natalee, get a trim, and was ready to go for her own!
I couldn't stand to part with a lot of length yet, so Kate just trimmed it and shaped it. We considered cutting it to the length of the side pieces in a bob, but I just couldn't, so she cut it in a "v" for us instead.
The smile grew as she got the royal treatment. Evie's little gal pal, Remi's, mom owns the salon and popped in while Ev was in the chair and that made her very happy.
After Kate trimmed it Evalynn said, "a little shorter," so she took a little bit more off. Then she gave her a curl and the glitter spray.
Core memory for Evalynn.
I still vaguely remember a hair cut at about her age.
She was so happy.
