Xavier's Soccer Finale Week

Fall soccer ended with a game on Tuesday and Thursday.  We had a sick Evie, so on Tuesday Mike went to the game and on Thursday I went.  Tuesday the other children except Ev still felt great so they all went.  Grandma Num, Papa Curtis, Aunt Penny, Jace, and Rogan came, too, so Xavier had quite a cheering squad.  Mike said he had a phenomenal game, with several goals.

Mike took the big camera and got some fun pictures of the Tuesday game.

Heading for goal!
Score!
Sometimes Mia and Zayden cheer - sometimes they play a pick up game with some kids they round up!
Look at that full moon on the horizon....
Grandma and Aunt Penny.  BFFs and big cheerleaders!

For the Thursday game the other kids were starting to seem sickly, so I slipped out with the soccer boy alone.  I took a hot tea and a blanket.  Ha.  I did manage to finally snag a video of him scoring a goal, though!

After the game, we slipped into the local coffee shop, Smokey Row, and had ourselves a mother/son dessert date.  I had a smores muffin (can it be a muffin looking all yum like that or is it a cupcake?) and Xavier had a big cinnamon roll.  Then we went home for supper.  Ha!

Xavier had a fun soccer season and learned a lot.  He enjoyed playing very much and we're thankful our community had this opportunity.
