Week in the Life {Girls' New Room, Therapy x3, Baby in Overalls}

Sunday, November 8th
Another gorgeous day.
My handsome boys ready for worship.
Natalee and Ameliya were ready to go, too, but Natalee declined a picture.
Evie's morning nap didn't work out with worship this week, so she and I stayed home and she got a good sleep in.
We went to a neighboring town to get a new to us set of bunk beds for the girls' room. Since they didn't have to get out of the van, we let the kids come and we all rode along together.
The rest of the day was spent cleaning, disassembling old beds, and reassembling new ones. The bunks will be for Mia and Evalynn eventually, and we upgraded Natalee to a full size platform bed and memory foam mattress. We're hoping the extra space is helpful to her when she has her night braces on - or when her baby sister wants to cuddle.  Ha.
We're on the hunt for a more slender night stand for the bunks, or perhaps will choose to have them share one between the beds. We also need a dresser (Mia's clothes were in the drawers of her daybed), but I grabbed a couple of under bed boxes to put them in and it's working for now. Baby steps.
Daddy needs to move Mia's pet net to her corner and Natalee would like some horse art on the walls. Always room for improvements, right? We're also hoping to get Natalee a small desk for her birthday, and she wants new horse sheets, since hers were twin size.
We truly worked almost all day on the beds and rooms and we were exhausted but fulfilled by the end of the night. The girls were very excited to sleep in their new beds.

Before I turned in, I set up the breakfast table for our big 5 year old's birthday on Monday.

Monday, November 9th
We spent all of Monday celebrating Zayden!
Evie was especially cute in her overalls.

Tuesday, November 10th
Tuesday was our Monday school day, except on Mondays we don't usually have anywhere we have to go.
Tuesdays are gym or swim at the Y - this week gym.
Zayden needed a lot of time to play with his new toys - we did eventually do his school after supper.
Natalee had physical therapy after lunch,
and then she and Xavier went to piano lessons with Miss Kathy after Mike got off work.
My 2 mini chefs helped me cut veggies for a yummy beef stew for supper.
They liked those big plastic knives I got out for them to use and they cut a lot of carrots!
Funny, since neither of them like stew, really, but they sure were ready helpers.
After supper, we had Zayden's birthday ice cream that we weren't hungry enough to have the night before.  And, of course, we sang.  Again.  And I stuck some candles right in that ice cream bucket.  #classy
Evie was here.for.it.
Night school with my two youngest scholars.
Mia has learned her first of 4 verses of letter cluster phonemes!
And Zayden is adding!
Tuesday was a full day and mom was sure tired by it's end.

Wednesday, November 11th
Thank you to all our veterans.  We're so thankful for your service.
Evalynn has been so very clingy lately.  It's humbling to be loved so hard, and also a little exhausting.  She is so precious, though.
Wednesdays are hippotherapy days.
After warm-ups, Natalee got to guide Chief around and collect bowling pins, and then bowl.  Evalynn got to help hide one of the pins.
The rest of Wednesday was finishing up school, and playing.  I'm thankful the kids love to play together.
We've been working on names!

Thursday, November 12th
Breakfast time at the zoo.
Morning loves!
We stayed home Thursday morning and focused on our schooling.  The kids also made cards for someone we love.  Evie LOVES to color.
Natalee did have an OT session in the afternoon - if you're counting, you're right - that is 3 days in a row of therapy.  This girls works so hard.
Naptime, sweetheart.
Sometimes Evie makes bad choices at naptime.  Oops.  Mom left the diaper cart too close.
The cousins came to play in the afternoon and they all had a good time with Legos, playmobil, and imaginative play.  The boys went outside and rode bikes and played on the trampoline, too.
Ev kept me company while I cooked after nap.  She's growing up a little everyday.

Friday, November 13th
We had gym again at the Y and they got to play kickball.  I had to wake Ev up from her morning nap to go to class and she was less than impressed and less than well behaved.
Miss Thing was playing with a calendar pointer and gave Zayden a good wallop on the head.  She did feel bad and try to apologize.
We don't often have school on Fridays, but we did this week because we took Monday off.  When Daddy got home for lunch it was all sillies, though.
Zayden ordered a Paw Patrol DVD with some of his birthday money from Nannie and it came in the mail Friday, so the kids got to watch it Friday evening.  It was a quiet night, especially for a family who doesn't do a lot of evening TV.

Saturday, November 14th
Morning cartoons, house cleaning, and a few honey-do projects were on Saturday's agenda.
Mike added the cup hooks to my coffee bar shelf.
The kids played hard after cleaning.
We finished our evening, and our week, with a family game of Sequence, in which Mia proved to be quite a shark!
