Gingerbread Houses

I've tried to get us into a tradition routine of doing gingerbread houses every other year and then on the opposing years decorating sugar cookies around the holidays.
We do "fake" gingerbread houses made from milk cartons with graham crackers hot glued to them.  I love gingerbread year because nothing that we create is meant to be edible so we just go to the local bang and dent and buy brightly colored frostings and candies and have a messy blast!

Natalee...
Uniform roof design, symmetrically decorated....please note the candy face on the sidewalk.

 Zayden... (and daddy)
Didn't like frosting on his hands, resulting in a sparsely decorated little house.
Daddy helped him with a tree and sidewalk.

Xavier...

Loved the gumdrops and sour skittles...probably the child who cares the most to want to try the candies, resulting in him using LOTS to decorate.

 Ameliya....

Did most of hers independently this year!  Mom helped her glob on some wall and roof frosting so she could spread it out.
Poor sweets was recovering from a virus, or still had one (we're not sure).
