Happy 2nd Birthday, Adelyn!

Happiest of birthdays to our niece, Adelyn Jewel.  She turns 2 on June 19 but we partied this weekend!

We rolled into town early on party day and took our kids and Adelyn to Kea & Miguel's HOA pool for a couple of hours!  What fun!

Uncle Mike found himself an AJ with her mouth full of bacon when we arrived.

 Zayden wasn't sure about the water at first.  He stayed on land for quite awhile.

AJ is a fish!  The puddle jumper we put on her was a bit too big but it kept her up well and she loved her independence.

 Mia was pretty brave!

 Natalee and Xavier are learning their limits without flotation/safety devices.

 Zayden finally warmed up to the water after watching the other kids swim!

Zayden had on swim trunks but they were rubbing his thighs so I took them off and his cloth swim diaper looked like a speedo.  Cutest little tushie award...

We got back to Kea and Miguel's and got everyone changed and spiffed up so we could party.  

After a couple hours of swimming lunch was welcomed by everyone!  

After lunch was cake!

Then presents!

 We stuck with our theme of water tables for everyone this summer and gifted AJ a water table! 

 

We also filled a small bag with all the weird random things we like to play with in the water - shaving cream, turkey baster, shovel/pail, etc...

 And an Elena book for the Elena of Avalor lover.

The kids had a great time playing outside all afternoon.  

We stayed and ordered pizza for supper and put our kids in jammies before driving home for bed.  It was a big day and lots of fun!

 

 Kea sent me a message of Adelyn saying GiGi the other day and it made me all warm and fuzzy.
