Beelers at the Ball Fields!

Ball season has taken us by storm and we are trying to love every single minute of it.  It's hard - training the little ones to obey, planning and organizing, and still actually watching the games and cheering for our children playing, but I'm told these are the very best times of our lives and I want to be present for these moments.

As our children grow, it's a joy to see them understand the game and actually make decisions, plays, and have good moments.  It's a privilege to pep them up when they strike out or to console them when a game is canceled for weather or other reasons.

Natalee started off our week of games 4 nights in a row, with a home game on Tuesday.

Xavier finished our week with games Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.  Poor Natalee - she was supposed to get to play Friday, too, and her game was canceled after she was dressed and we were headed to the fields for Xavier's game.  Such a bummer for a little girl who likes routine and the game.

Thursday our game was in Kirksville...

And we finished up tonight at home!
I'm loving the game - I'm loving our later game slot of 6:45 that comes with the privilege of your children getting older, and I'm loving watching our children make lifelong memories!
