Christmas Morning

Since Christmas fell on a Sunday, Mike and I decided we didn't want to do full fledged "Christmas morning" with the kids.  We wanted to be able to enter church in some sort of state of worship, instead of a state of frenzy.  We let the kids do their stockings, the gifts they bought each other, and their book from us before getting them ready for church.
Santa had to wait a long time for this kid to fall asleep!

Santa left something for each child in addition to their stocking.  Xavier loves his toy bow and arrow, Ameliya and Zayden seemed indifferent about their gifts, but Natalee LOVES the little clothes I had made Santa's elves made for her 6" Addy doll.  The elf, Jenny, outdid herself - they are DARLING.
The coat and bonnet are my favorite.  Really sweet.

Zayden drew Xavier's name and got him a Rock Steady TMNT action figure.

Natalee had Zayden's name and picked him out a VTech phone.
Look at that grin - he loves it!

Xavier had Ameliya's name and chose two sweet little baby dolls for her.

Ameliya had Natalee's name and chose to buy her a marker set and princess coloring book.

The kids LOVED exchanging names with their siblings - it will definitely become a tradition.

The kids' something to read were Usborne books - we got pull back books for the little two and wind up books for the big two.
I'm glad we chose to not do all our Christmas celebration before church as we were still hustling to get in the door on time!
