all we need is a baby!

I can't wait any longer to post pictures of our increasingly cute nursery (even though it took me forever to transfer them to a jump drive & upload them at work b/c we still don't have internet at the house). Anyways...I am so in love with this room & what it represents that sometimes I just go in there and stand. I always want to be doing something in here...organizing, hanging pictures, folding clothes, what-have-ya. The rest of the house may be a disaster, but this room is o so ready for baby! Stop by anytime to see it (you'll just have to close your eyes at the rest of the mess in the house). I'll have to take a picture of my organized baby kitchen cabinet...Andrea got it all set up & it is filling up, too! What a blessed baby & blessed mommy & daddy we are to have everything we need before we even get started!

so we prematurely bought a couple of Christmas sleepers at herberger's the other day!
mike loves the reindeer feet on this one...

basket 'o hats...one in every fabric, shape, size, & gender. no cold heads at our house!

aunt laurnie made the bed and has it all snuggly & ready for baby!

focus on the rug in this picture...we love it & it is as soft & plush as it feels!

the carseat is all snuggled up & ready to go pick up baby from the hospital.
daddy now knows how to work it & get it in and out of the car...ducky is ready for the trip, too!
(daddy still has to learn how to get the base securely in the car, though)

have you ever seen so many rattles in all your life?...we'll have one for every place we go!!
what a lucky baby!

the dresser drawers aren't quite full yet but they are getting closer!

the changing table is the only thing that isn't dark wood in the nursery but i like it anyways...i found the cute canvas baskets for it as target & got a great price on them...they are super cute!

comforters aren't safe for the baby to sleep with, but it looks mighty cute on the quilt rack! i made hooks for it by safety pinning fabric ribbon to the top & looping it around the rack.

we bought this picture at the House of Jesus, after looking at it many times. we loooove it!

all we need now is a baby to use all this great stuff!

Have another check-up today...they are very routine & we are lucky to never have any trouble so I'm sure it will be quick & we'll be back in time for revival...Mike has to run video tonight so we better be back!

i love the picture! i have seen the room in person but i don't think you had the animal decals on the dresser and changing table, did you? it all looks so great, but will look even better with a babes in it:)

no, we've hung those, the big picture & 3 smaller jean keaton pictures above the bookcase (mike was in the process of hanging those when i was taking pictures). i also just got the comforter on the rack & a few other odds & ends done. its coming together (i just shudder to think about putting another child in that room as full as it is already!).

Vance dragged our favorite nurse down to the car and made her make sure that the base was installed correctly...just a thought. I LOVE the picture and still think you should hang the animals on the drawers. GOOD JOB...can't wait for the baby!

Cute, cute, cute. My favorite part is the drawer pulls. Steve had to install the car seat base at the hospital b/c we weren't quite ready for Levi.
