A Weekend with Theo

We had a Friday visit with Lauren, baby Arthur, and Theo (and I didn't take a single picture!) and then Lauren left Theo with us for a couple of days.
Evie was trying to fill Artie's seat so he wouldn't leave.  She had plans to make him her own.
It didn't work.  She was sad when "baby" left, but she soon went off to pestering the boys!
Honestly, when the little boys are together you don't see much out of them unless they finally get hungry and want some sustenance.  We didn't get them to eat much lunch, but I did get some supper down them.
Supper, then sprinkler...
After we wore the boys down as much as possible we got everyone cleaned up and to bed.....however they talked and laughed until after 11.  That didn't cause them to sleep in much on Saturday, though!
Before it got too hot out, we did a fizzy play tray (baking soda and colored vinegar).  Turkey basters x6 (thanks Dollar Tree!).
And shaving cream!
After a morning of fun and a quick lunch, we laid those tired boys down for a rest.  They were getting a bit crabby at each other, and you could tell they were just sleepy from being up late the night before.  They slept for 2 hours and were right as rain and ready to party.  They played, had pizza, a bike ride, brownies and ice cream, and then a bedtime swim
"Just a few more minutes."
We separated the boys into top and bottom bunk instead of both on the full sized bed and they fell asleep a lot faster.
Sunday morning we got up and around and headed to Grandma and Grandpa's house for lunch, a fun afternoon, and to return our weekend buddy!  What great memories we made!
