Natalee's Second Year of Girls' Camp

After a successful first experience at girls' camp last summer, Natalee couldn't wait to go back.  Our summer was rocky with Mia's illnesses and hospitalization, but that didn't stop us from letting our girl have this fun experience.  She settled in easily and was SO excited to see familiar friends there.  She was in a bunk house again, and is counting the years until she earns an air conditioned cabin!
We were not expecting Mia's surgery to happen so quickly, and as it happened it got scheduled for the Friday that I was to attend the parent show and pick Natalee up from camp.  I went up Tuesday evening to talk to her about everything and stayed to visit for awhile.
I stalk the camp Facebook group for pictures of my girl throughout the week, always so grateful for their daily updates.

One of the reasons Natalee loves camp is because she loves predictable scheduling - this name tag is her bees knees!

As predicted, she had a wonderful week and had lots of things to tell us when she got home.  Thank you to Grandma Num for filling in for me and going to her program and pick up and for giving her the space she needs to decompress after a week of camp.

We're so grateful for the ladies that put on this wonderful experience - it's a comfort to me to know so many of the gals that are up at camp during the week and feel comfortable with them caring for my child.
