We did a bit of school on Evalynn's actual birthday, but also had a lot of fun!

One gift before Daddy headed to work. Unfortunately Mike's department has instituted black out dates that fall on Ev's birthday, so he wasn't able to take PTO to be with her.

I took a few photos of the birthday girl while the big kids started school.
Evalynn asked to do school so we did a bit and she colored in her new marker books.
Honestly, the birthday princess was whiney and tired, and so about 11:30 she ate a little, and then went to lay down for a big rest. This meant she missed Daddy coming home at lunch, but I think it was a rest she needed.
We played outside and had a sno cone after her nap.
Then she got to FaceTime Aunt Kea, AJ, and Isa and fill them in on her birthday happenings!
Daddy decided we would take the birthday girl to the Mexican restaurant for her supper and she was so excited to go out with her people.

We came back home for the last birthday presents and cake and ice cream.
Evalynn wasn't wild about the dye free funfetti cake I made - I told her I'd made her a "sprinkle cake" and she expected it to be made of all sprinkles. Ha. She came around and ate some of mine.

After a big day it was time to wind down. Games, playing Spirit (A & Z gifted Ev a new Spirit/Lucky toy), some jumping, and lots of clothes changes for baby (X & N gifted Ev new clothes for Honey).
Showers, and tucking in Honey...
It's the shhhhhh for me.... Happy birthday, our precious, Evalynn.
