That's a Wrap (Spring Soccer 2021 Has Ended)

Where have you been, Jenn?  No blog posts for over 3 weeks.  Well, we've been living our best life on the soccer and baseball fields and cheering for our kids - loudly.  Obnoxiously.  Consistently.  Sometimes daily.

For real, we have had weeks that we are on the fields every night, sometimes going straight from soccer to baseball.  We've had a blast!

Tonight ended Ameliya and Zayden's spring soccer season and they had a wonderful 6 weeks!  The team improved and grew so much in those few weeks and we all learned a lot!

The team was truly a joy to watch and work with - all the families so cooperative and positive.
Our first game was back in April.
Some weeks we played in shorts.
Zayden giving it his all!

My little duo...
Some weeks we played in pants and stocking hats.

One of our sweet team moms started bringing snacks so we all took turns.  My kids don't often get snack cakes....big treats!
Evie was here for it!  Actually she didn't eat much of that snack cake -
but she does love the juice pouch.

Grandma and Papa caught a drizzly game last week (& baseball, but he'll get his own post!) and came back after for pizza and a visit!

Grandma and Papa also made it up for our last game in the sprinkles!  Not great weather but great fun watching these kids play!
Our team was 6 players, and they played 4 on 4 (so 2 rotated out all the time).  When our 2 were on the field together they often were found near one another....feeding off of each other, encouraging, passing, watching.  So sweet - my heart.
Look at sis staying near brother....not pushing in but cheering on.  I love them.
SCORE!
Zayden was so hard to get a video of scoring, but he had a great season, as did Ameliya!
Three of these purple people are mine!  I'm so blessed!
The association didn't do photos this year because of covid - so you know I just got out the big ole camera and handled that myself for our team!
The "memory mates."
And together, because #cutenessoverload.
I had to scoot over the street early from soccer to be with Xavier for his baseball game (so hard to be divided), but Grandma got videos of both kids scoring for me
and of them getting their medals from coach Daddy and their treat bags from helper Natalee.
We introduced Grandma and Papa to SnoBiz and they treated everyone to ice cream.  They approve of our summer treat indulgence choice.

Such a great introduction to soccer for the Beeler family.  We've enjoyed it so much and are so thankful we had this opportunity!
